Hello,
I’m Brenda

Photo of a woman with short dark hair, wearing a purple knit beanie, purple scarf, white shirt, and brown pants, sitting on a stool with a beige background and wooden floor.

My work is shaped by a desire to create at a more human pace — one that feels grounded, intentional, and connected to what is real. In a time where image-making is becoming increasingly automated, I’m drawn to the essence of things: the materials, the atmosphere, and the subtle details that give a brand its character.

I approach each project with a balance of intuition and technical care, creating imagery that feels natural, considered, and honest — never overproduced, but thoughtfully refined.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with independent and conscious brands such as Chapter Organics, Or Shop Skye, Shibui Teas, Dook of Edinburgh, Floragy, Oremi Candles, Rowan, and the Scottish Textiles Showcase. Alongside brand work, I also create portraits in the same spirit — focusing on presence, intimacy, and the human side behind what people do.

Much of what inspires my work comes from outside of photography. Writing, poetry, music, and mindfulness practices all shape the way I see and create — encouraging a slower, more attentive way of working and relating to the world.

My process is collaborative and flexible, shaped around each person or brand I work with. At its core, I’m interested in creating imagery that feels aligned and quietly distinctive — work that connects, not through excess, but through clarity, care, and intention.
